Born September 9, 1982, pound for pound king Lorenzo Hunt has had a combat sports career dating back to 2013, starting off in his native Florida's MMA scene as an amateur, then turning pro two years later. The Juggernaut fought in MMA promotions like RFC and Titan FC earning all of his professional wins by knockout. Once he entered the world of bare-knuckle boxing, it seems he never looked back going on a wild tear straight to the top of two divisions in the world's premier bare-knuckle fighting promotion.
A relatively private individual, Hunt is a family man who credits much of his success to the love he receives from those closest to him. His social media is flooded with fighting/training footage and his loved ones along with some viral moments he's been involved in with the BKFC.
He trains with Elvin Brito in Puerto Rico often and they mix conventional training with unorthodox methods. Punching tires up hills, wrestling goats, hitting piles of packed in dirt, all seemingly a part of an effective training regimen for Hunt along with sparring and cardio work. He also trained Bryce Hall before his massive upset win against the, at the time undefeated Gee Perez.
Hunt is criticized by all of his opponents for being too cocky, too brash, too full of himself, but being locked into the top 5 pound for pound rankings in the world's most brutal combat sport gives a man a reason to be proud of his accomplishments.
There's no doubt Lorenzo 'The Juggernaut' Hunt has elevated the sport of bare-knuckle boxing. Anyone standing opposite from him in the Squared Circle is in for the fight of their life and if you ask him, he's going to retire with both belts and retire many fighters along the way. Since day one, Hunt has been everything that a BKFC fighter embodies. Anytime he's on a card, you can expect fireworks in the lead up to fight night, at the press conference, during the fight and after.
He's beaten former UFC champion Joe Riggs, UFC veteran Chris Camozzi, BKFC interim light heavyweight champion and legend Mike Richman, BKFC title contenders Quintin Henry, Erick Lozano, Josh Dyer and many more.
Be sure to tune in anytime the Juggernaut is knuckling up!
