Austin “No Doubt” Trout just keeps adding to his legendary resume.
In the recent Main Event of BKFC 71 — the first headliner in BKFC’s historic, two-night premiere in Dubai — Trout defended his BKFC World Welterweight Championship for the second time with a hard-fought decision over the previously unbeaten Carlos Trinidad-Snake, LIVE worldwide on The BKFC App.
“Dubai was a great experience,” the undefeated Houston, TX fighter says after returning to the United States.
“The country was amazing, but I’m not satisfied with my performance in the ring. It wasn’t an ideal training camp, but we were able to overcome that and get the win, which is the most important thing.”
The former World Boxing Association gloved boxing champion has his sights set on another piece of hardware for his mantle — the BKFC World Lightweight Championship that is currently held by the unbeaten Franco Tenaglia.
“I wasn’t joking about moving down to 155,” Trout says with a chuckle.
“I know I would be really strong at lightweight. I would dominate the competition, and you’d be seeing a lot of knockouts.”
