David Simpson cut his teeth in BKFC back at BKFC 20 in 2021 against Scott O'Shaughnessy. Fighting early on in a new sport, a fighter doesn’t know what exactly to expect but he made a good account for himself in a loss with a unanimous decision. 

Simpson began his combat sports career back in 2011 as an amateur in MMA. He had wins and losses by all three major methods and wrapped his am career up with a record 0f 6-5. In title fights, Simpson is 1-1 having won a title in Spartyka Fight League in 2018.

The Smith Center, Kansas fighter has faced the likes of David Mundell, Jay Jackson and Markus Suarez in the Squared Circle. He’s fought very high level opponents and mid level competition so experience and skill level are at a high.
