Sean “P-Town” Wilson is happy, but far from satisfied.
On Friday, he earned his fourth BKFC victory with a hard-fought unanimous decision over JorDan Christensen at BKFC Fight Night Omaha at the sold-out Astro Theater in Omaha, NE.
“Every time you go out there, obviously the goal is to finish your opponent. Unfortunately I couldn’t get that done, but I believe I out-boxed my opponent. He was heavier — my future with BKFC is at 165 pounds — and that weight difference weighed on me in the fight,” the battle-tested Papillion, NE fighter says.
“I’m pretty happy with my performance, but there’s also a lot that can be improved upon, and I’ll definitely be faster and in better condition at 165 pounds moving forward.”
Free from injuries, Wilson wants to keep the great times rolling — ideally at BKFC's hugely anticipated debut in Texas on June 21 in Fort Worth or at the organization's can't-miss return to Sturgis, SD on Aug. 2.
“Usually my hands are swollen after my fights, but I’m ready to get back in there almost immediately. Fighting on the Texas card or on the Sturgis card would be perfect for me,” he says.
“Those two cards are calling my name.”
