Rico “Bon Bon” Franco’s BKFC career is off to a sweet start.

The highly touted British prospect made his BKFC debut with a second-round stoppage over Darren Godfrey at BKFC 37 in March. He makes a quick turnaround in the Squared Circle, returning to action against Axel Birbes at BKFC 40 on April 22 in Leeds, UK, LIVE on The BKFC App.

“My BKFC debut went as planned, which was to get some ring time in and soak up the new atmosphere,” Franco says on the eve of his return to the Squared Circle. “I felt solid in my debut and, coming into this next one, I expect an even better performance.” 

Franco predicts nothing less than another stoppage victory against Birbes. He isn’t looking past his opponent in Leeds, but “Bon Bon” has his sights set on competing four times in the Squared Circle in 2023 and establishing himself as an international star on BKFC’s global platform.

“My focus is nothing but winning the BKFC title in America,” he says. “I want to compete out there again and fight some massive names.”
