Mikey Furnier answers when opportunity knocks.
So when the call came in last week to step in on short notice to battle Pat Carroll in heavyweight action on March 21 at BKFC Fight Night: Philly at the legendary 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, he was more than happy to sign on the dotted line.
The Wheelersburg, OH big man has been competing in combat sports for more than a decade, so he’s no stranger to short-notice fights.
“I’m confident in myself — I know how to fight,” he says.
“After fighting for 14 years, this is just another day at the office,” he adds. “Somebody wins, somebody loses, and we both go back to our regular lives afterwards.”
Furnier is confident he’ll bring home the win on March 21 in Philadelphia, and he wants to stay active in the Squared Circle throughout 2025.
“As long as BKFC keeps bringing me back, I’ll keep coming,” he says. “I love fighting for BKFC, and I love putting on a show for the fans.”
