Jeremie Holloway ready to make power moves with BKFC

August 11, 2023

Fighting is a family affair for Jeremie Holloway.

As a youngster he grew up admiring his uncle, a professional boxer, and watching other older family members involved in martial arts.

“Almost everyone in my family competed in kickboxing or karate and went pretty far with it, so you could say it’s always been in the family,” Holloway says.

“As a kid I really looked up to my uncle, and I saw the support he got and the work that he put in,” he adds. “I loved everything about it.”

It should be of no surprise that Holloway eventually became a professional fighter. He brings a 10-6 record as a pro MMA athlete into his Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship debut against Will Santiago (2-0, 2 KOs) at BKFC 48 on Friday in Albuquerque, NM, LIVE on The BKFC App.

Holloway’s MMA record includes five knockouts and a pair of submissions. He’s looking for nothing less than another stoppage victory in New Mexico.

“I would like to get the knockout, but I’m not going to look for the knockout,” he says. “I think the doctor is going to stop it.”

Holloway is a fresh face with BKFC, but he plans on making his presence known this weekend and then making power moves in the Squared Circle.

“My goal is to climb the rankings and get the belt. I’d like to touch Lorenzo Hunt and take his belt, then go down to ‘65 and take the belt from Luis Palomino if he still has it,” he says.

“But one thing at a time.”
