BKFC stars predict Barnett Jr.-Alvarez Main Event matchup at BKFC 39

BKFC predictions for BKFC 39 in Virginia

The BKFC World Bantamweight Championship is on the line this week. The champ Reggie “Educated Hands” Barnett Jr. (8-2, 2 KOs) defends his title against Daniel Alvarez (1-0, 1 KO) in the Main Event of BKFC 39 on Friday in Norfolk, VA, LIVE on The BKFC App.

We asked some of BKFC’s most talented fighters for their predictions for the highly anticipated World Championship matchup.

Zach Calmus: Reggie retains the belt, champion’s advantage and home court.

Isaac “The Honey Badger” Doolittle: Alvarez is quick, but open with relatively straightforward movement. I believe Barnett's footwork, head movement, and precision will out work Alvarez's speed. Probably in the second or third round, maybe the fourth.

Albert Inclan: I say it goes into later rounds and Reggie wins by a decision. Reggie is going to press the pace. I see Daniel tying to press it, but Reggie’s accuracy is too much.

JR “The Lion” Ridge: As I’ve fought Alvarez, I know he utilizes his distance effectively. I believe 135 is much better for him since he didn’t make the 125 weight. Reggie is a smart and calculated fighter – that is a dangerous combination for a fighter. If Reggie can counter with his combos, it will give Alvarez a tough time. Going with Reggie on the win.

Christian “The Terminator” Torres: Reggie is taking that fight. He’s very skilled in that ring and I think his ring IQ is just different.

Jared “Captain Deadpool” Warren: Reggie is an easy pick. I mean no disrespect to Alvarez, but Reggie literally has 10 times the amount of experience in this sport. I definitely give props to Alvarez for stepping up at this opportunity.
