Before fighting in the world’s fastest growing combat sport, Grady Behrens achieved an amateur MMA record of 5-0-0 and at 23 years old when doing so, he’s got serious promise in a new sport. Despite what looks like a lack of experience on paper, Behrens has won a fight by just about every way one can do so. He’s had his hand raised after a TKO, a couple of submissions a doctor stoppage and a decision. This tells us quite a bit about the young prospect. A - he’s dangerous, B - he has cardio to go the distance and C - he’s always looking for a win by whatever means he can find one. These all paint a solid picture of not only a fighter’s physical skill set but also his fight IQ which many young fighters lack.
Grady Behrens is going to keep his opponents and fans alike guessing on his approach on fight night and we can't hate that! This seems like quite the prospect for a nation that needs more talent in combat sports so keep an eye on the Havoc amateur middleweight champ in the near future.
