Louie “El Loco” Lopez is crazy about his BKFC 70 matchup tonight with the unbeaten Edgard Plazaola.
The 33-year-old Missoula, MT product believes another shot at BKFC Word Featherweight Champion “King” Kai Stewart is potentially waiting for him if he can beat Plazaola tonight at the iconic Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, FL, LIVE worldwide on DAZN.
“I had my eyes on a few other guys in the division, but as soon as this opportunity arose, I jumped on it. I know that this fight is going to put me where I need to be,” Lopez says.
“I think the winner of this fight will be in the running for another No. 1 contender matchup, and that’s very exciting to me.”
Lopez isn’t looking past Plazaola, but he does plan on leaving Florida with his fifth BKFC victory in tow.
“I can see this fight going all five rounds — I know we’re both prepared for that — but I can also see myself cutting him up so badly that he doesn’t make it out of the first or second rounds,” he says.
“I’m the best that I’ve ever been in my life, training at Missoula Kickboxing and Zoo BJJ here in my hometown, and I’m just ready to show that I’m one of the best in the world.”
