Kaleb “Lionheart” Harris had a short night at the office at BKFC 36.
He needed just 39 seconds to stop Brad “Machine Gun” Kelly in their welterweight matchup in Kenner, LA on Friday, LIVE on The BKFC App.
“The punches landed in the right spot at the right time and I was just able to finish it very quickly,” Harris says of Friday’s victory, the fastest of his lengthy career.
“It was kind of like a duel in the old west. I was the first one to draw, and he was the one who got shot.”
Harris’ fight Friday was the 10th of his BKFC career, putting him in very exclusive company. Only Reggie Barnett Jr. (8-2), Lorenzo Hunt (9-1) and now Harris have tested their skills in the BKFC Squared Circle 10 times.
The significance of the milestone isn’t lost on Harris, who has his sights set on a bout with BKFC World Welterweight Champion Luis “Baboon” Palomino (8-0).
“That’s amazing,” he says.
“It’s hard to believe I’ve been doing this for four years, and I’m just looking forward to the next 10 fights.”
