Jared Warren won’t rest until the BKFC World Light-Heavyweight Title is back around his waist.
Currently, Warren is hard at work in preparation for his first fight since losing his title to Mike Richman at BKFC on DAZN 3 in December. He meets the dynamic Joseph Creer in the Main Event of BKFC Fight Night Clearwater on May 2, LIVE worldwide on The BKFC App from the legendary OCC Road House & Museum in Clearwater, FL.
“I’m ready to get back on track and put myself right back in the title picture … That loss made me hungry to redeem myself,” the Tampa, FL product says.
“I don’t make any excuses for my last fight; I’ve just been working as hard as I can on getting better and hopefully I can get that rematch.”
Warren certainly isn’t overlooking Creer, who at 6'3" brings a two-inch height advantage into their showdown in the Squared Circle.
“This is going to be a good battle of technical fighters. I like Creer and I respect him a lot. This is a fun matchup. I like fighting guys who are taller than me because it doesn’t happen very often,” he says with a chuckle.
“His stature gives me something unique to work on, and I think it’ll be a very exciting, high-paced fight for the fans. I’m looking for the finish, but he’s a tough guy to put away, so I’m ready for all five rounds, if necessary.”
Warren has a straightforward goal for the rest of 2025 — fight and beat the winner of Richman’s BKFC 74 Main Event showdown with Josh Dyer, which is set for May 10 at the Maverik Center in Salt Lake City, UT, LIVE worldwide on DAZN.
“I’m fine fighting either of those guys because I’ve got beef with both of them — it doesn’t matter who it is,” Warren says, laughing. “But in 2025, I see myself getting the rematch and getting my belt back.”
