Kai Stewart is ready to end his biggest year yet with a bang at BKFC 56.
At the stacked event on Dec. 2, the undefeated Great Falls, MT fighter will defend his BKFC World Featherweight Championship for the first time against Howard “HD” Davis (5-1-1), LIVE on The BKFC App from Maverick Center in Salt Lake City, UT.
BKFC 56 is the biggest event in the organization’s history. Three BKFC World Championships are on the line, and the larger-than-life card is loaded with other must-see fights, like “Platinum” Mike Perry vs. Eddie “The Underground King” Alvarez in the Main Event and “Big” Ben Rothwell vs. Todd Duffee in the Co-Main Event.
Stewart, 23, is the youngest Champion in BKFC history and unbeaten in his first four BKFC bouts. He knows another highlight-reel performance on such a grand stage will propel him to superstardom and tee up a massive 2024 campaign in the Squared Circle.
Much is at stake, and he’s ready to rise to the occasion in Utah.
“I’m very young in my career, so getting an opportunity like this is absolutely unreal. But you’ve got to act like you’ve been there. I’m going to take this head on, and I’m going to come home with the win on this massive platform,” Stewart says.
“BKFC is always upgrading and leveling up. I’m young, so I have a big ceiling too; I’m ready to show my superstardom.”
The most likely outcome for this fight, Stewart says, is violence.
“I’ve seen Howard Davis get pressured, and he’s very uncomfortable with that. So from start to finish, that’s what he can expect,” he says.
“I expect to get him out of there early, but I’m ready for five rounds. I’m just there to fight. He’s going to leave himself open, he’s going to crumble under the pressure, and we’re going to walk away victorious.”
