It was love at first fight for Trukon Carson and BKFC.
Carson has been fighting his whole life, but nothing compared to his BKFC debut in 2021. Carson lost his fight via doctor stoppage to the ultra-tough Rynell Riley, but something about fighting without gloves in the world-famous Squared Circle hit differently – literally.
“That fight was really tough, but there was something about the savage brutality of it – and I’m built for that (expletive),” Carson says. “There’s no other combat sport high like bare knuckle. Looking back on it, it was one of the best experiences of my life, and I wish I could go back in time and relive it.”
Instead of going back, Carson is moving forward. He makes his highly anticipated return to the Squared Circle against Tim Hester at BKFC 42 in Greenville, SC on May 12, LIVE on The BKFC App.
Carson is expecting another night to remember in South Carolina – but he anticipates a more favorable result this time around.
“I definitely want to make it crazy and cool and unbelievable, absolutely, but I plan on fighting my fight a little more this time. There’s no rush; I’m going to show off my boxing skills and hit this dude with some cleaner shots,” Carson says.
“If I dial in and play my game on the outside, I’m going to knock this dude’s (expletive) out eventually.”
If all goes according to Carson’s plan, fans are going to see a lot more of him in the BKFC Squared Circle.
“I love BKFC, and I just want to continue to grow as a bare knuckle fighter, showcase my skills and maximize my potential as a fighter,” Carson says.
“I want to build with BKFC. This organization has a very special place in my heart – it’s more than just a fight promotion.”
