Duke “The Nuke” Sensley’s bare knuckle fighting career is blowing up.
The New Orleans product smashed his way to 2-0 in the BKFC Squared Circle with a unanimous decision over Bellator vet Joseph Creer at BKFC 36 on Friday in Kenner, LA, LIVE on The BKFC App.
Most fighters don’t win their first two bouts under the BKFC banner. It’s a nice start, Sensley says, but the fast-rising light-heavyweight prospect keeps his early success in perspective.
“I don’t want to say I’m not excited about it, but 2-0 is just a number. I’m hoping that it leads to something bigger and better,” Sensley says. “What is 2-0? It’s just two fights; I haven’t even scratched the surface yet.”
What are Sensley’s goals in the Squared Circle?
“I just want to take it as far as I can take it. I want to work my way to the top of the rankings and eventually get the belt,” he says.
“Like I said, I don’t plan on stopping any time soon – I’m just getting started.”
