Juan Figuerva began his mixed martial arts career as an amateur in 2014. After going 2-0, he turned pro a year later and has had some solid performances mixed in with some disappointing losses to some good opponents. With most wins coming by T/KO and most losses coming by decision, Figuerva’s style is suited well for BKFC *and he’s going to look to make a statement in his debut against the two-fight veteran Chase Gormley.
Figuerva spent most of his time in Cogo Combat Games, a Washington State based MMA promotion where he has gone 1-3. He’s riding some momentum running into his BKFC debut after a 16 second knockout in WFC.
