Rynell Riley is ready to make his run

October 26, 2022

Rynell Riley is ready to make his run.

On Nov. 18 in Omaha, NE, he goes for his second victory in the Squared Circle against Carlos Trinidad-Snake in their welterweight matchup at BKFC 33, LIVE on the BKFC app.

Riley predicts another KO in his upcoming fight, and he hopes to be in BKFC title contention in 2023.

But first things first. Riley is ready to turn the page on his most recent bout – his first loss under the BKFC banner.

“(Heading into my last fight) I changed up some things in my game, and I decided to try some different things because I was training at a Muay Thai kickboxing gym, and I got away from myself. I got away from the true me,” Riley says.

“Everybody saw who I am in my first fight with BKFC. I got away from that when I lost. But I’m back now, and I’m feeling better than ever.”

Riley’s combat resume includes a couple dozen amateur boxing matches and a handful of pro boxing bouts, but he insists bare knuckle fighting is a better fit for him than gloved boxing.

“I don’t really have a boxing style – I’m a brawler and I really just like to fight,” offers Riley, a product of Jacksonville, FL by way of Fort Worth, TX.

“BKFC is the perfect match for me.”
