Murat “Lord Pitbull” Kazgan isn’t just fighting for himself in the Squared Circle – he’s fighting for his home country of Turkey. 

Kazgan is currently the only Turkish fighter on the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship roster. It can be challenging to carry the weight of a nation on your shoulders, but Kazgan embraces the opportunity.

“It's a tremendous honor to be the sole Turkish fighter on the BKFC roster. I take immense pride in representing my country and its rich fighting heritage on such a global platform,” Kazgan says.

BKFC is the world’s fastest growing combat sports promotion, and Kazgan says the organization is rapidly picking up steam in Turkey, a transcontinental country with a population of more than 85,000,000 people.

“It’s being watched more and more every day, and I believe it has the potential to gain a very significant following,” he says. “BKFC is now broadcast in Turkey on the S Sports TV channel. The passion for combat sports runs deep in our culture, and BKFC's unique style can resonate with Turkish fans.”

Kazgan says one of his goals is to help bring the world-famous Squared Circle to Turkey.

“I envision a packed arena, roaring fans, and a memorable night of bare knuckle action in my homeland,” he says with a big smile.

But first, Kazgan returns to action in the BKFC 53 Co-Main Event on Nov. 3 in Orlando, FL, LIVE on The BKFC App. He looks to improve to 2-0 against fellow fan-favorite Julian Lane in welterweight action.

“I’m incredibly thrilled for my return to the BKFC Squared Circle. The adrenaline and anticipation are at an all-time high. I can't wait to showcase my skills and passion for this sport,” Kazgan says.

“I’m very well prepared; I’m ready to fight five rounds but I expect a quick win,” he adds. “I can assure you that my fight against Julian Lane will be nothing short of thrilling. Expect fireworks in the Squared Circle.”
