Josh “Cuddly Bear” Copeland taking a bite out of BKFC heavyweight division

Josh “Cuddly Bear” Copeland is ready to take a bite out of the stacked Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship heavyweight division.

The UFC vet looks to improve to 2-0 with a second straight stoppage victory against Steve Herelius (1-0) at BKFC 41 on April 29 in Denver, CO, LIVE on The BKFC App.

BKFC's loaded heavyweight division is led by its undefeated champion Alan "The Talent" Belcher (4-0), and a host of other highly dangerous combatants, like Arnold “Bomaye” Adams (7-2), Gustavo “The Cuban Assassin” Trujillo (4-0), “Big” Ben Rothwell (1-0), Dillon “Bad Boy” Cleckler (3-1) and many others.

Copeland is eager to rack up another impressive win and prove that he belongs in the Squared Circle with the world’s best heavyweight bare knuckle fighters.

“I’m 40 years old and I believe in my abilities. I want my chance to prove that I can beat those bigger-name guys,” Copeland says.

“We’re all competitors and showmen. At the end of the day, let’s go out there and put on a good show,” he adds. “I have no animosity towards anyone that I fight, as long as they’re good, upstanding people. I enjoy competing with the best of the world, and I know I can, so it’s fun for me.”

Copeland hopes the good times keep rolling, with the BKFC World Heavyweight Championship being his ultimate destination for 2023.

“As long as I can stay healthy and keep putting on entertaining fights, I just want to keep busy and keep moving forward.”
