Like Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship fans around the world, Jake Bostwick is fired up for the BKFC 47 Main Event.
In the highly anticipated headline matchup on July 14, David “Redneck” Mundell defends his BKFC World Middleweight Championship for the first time against former BKFC champ and fellow fan-favorite Mike “The Marine” Richman in Lakeland, FL, LIVE on The BKFC App.
“That’s a tricky one; I don’t know who will come out on top,” Bostwick says when asked for a fight prediction. “They’re both pretty durable and they’ve both got knockout power, so it’s a really interesting matchup.
“I don’t know why, but I think Richman might come out on top.”
Regardless of who wins on July 14, Bostwick wants to test his skills against the victor. At BKFC 45, Bostwick improved to 3-2-1 in the Squared Circle with a unanimous decision over Erick Lozano.
“I’m coming off three good performances, I’ve showed how much I’m evolving as a fighter,” Bostwick says. “At the end of the day, who else is making crazy noise in the division? This is a fight that makes sense for the fans, and it’s definitely the fight that I want, so I’ve got my eyes on the next title shot.”
