Chancey “Superfly” Wilson is fired up.
At BKFC 53 on Nov. 3 in Orlando, Wilson gets to welcome top flyweight prospect Dagoberto Aguero to the BKFC Squared Circle, LIVE on The BKFC App. Hailing from San Cristobal, Dominican Republic, Aguero boasts a record of 15-2 as a professional gloved boxer. His resume includes 10 victories by knockout.
“I’m really excited for this fight. My opponent is a legit boxer with a pretty good record. Fights like this excite me because it gives me an opportunity to showcase my skill set and prove that I can compete at a really high level,” says Wilson, who’s hunting for his second straight/fourth overall BKFC victory.
“Training camp has been going great,” he adds. “I feel sharp and I’m dialed in.”
Aguero is a rookie in the world of bare knuckle fighting, but his body of work as a gloved boxer makes him a legit prospect to watch in BKFC’s bustling flyweight division. A win over Aguero, Wilson says, should put him next in line for a shot at undefeated BKFC World Flyweight Champion John “The Magician” Dodson (3-0, 3 KOs).
“I think this fight with Aguero is one that nobody else in the weight class wanted, but I accepted it without hesitation,” the Wichita, KS fighter says. “When I win, that will make me undeniable – then it’s my time for a title shot.”
