Crystal Pittman is ready to shine.
She goes for her second BKFC victory against Toni Tallman at BKFC 47 on July 14 in Lakeland, FL, LIVE on The BKFC App.
Most of the “heavy lifting” is done for Pittman’s return to the Squared Circle, so fight night can’t come soon enough.
She’s fired up to showcase her evolution as a fighter, return to the win column and, most importantly, help set the tone for her Shift MMA teammates who will also be fighting at BKFC 47.
Fellow Team Shift fighters competing on the card are David “Redneck” Mundell, who defends his BKFC World Middleweight Championship in the Main Event, Jared “Captain Deadpool” Warren, who fights for the vacant BKFC Interim World Light-Heavyweight Title in the Co-Main Event, and Brandon Allen, who’s gunning for his fourth straight victory in the Feature Fight of the night.
“That’s what I’m most excited about – sharing this night with my team,” Pittman says with a smile.
“I’m really excited to go out there and set the tone. We’re all going to be on such a high level with each other that, regardless of how we do, we’re all going to be so pumped for each other. But I’m so excited to get out there and be aggressive, and knock this (expletive) fight out.”
Pittman is planning on a knockout in Lakeland, and she hopes to be one of BKFC’s most active combatants moving forward.
“I’m not going to be wild – we’ve trained a year for this – but I’m definitely looking forward to ending this fight early. I don’t think she’s going to be able to hang with me,” Pittman says.
“After this fight, as long as I’m healthy, I’d love to fight every two to three months – that would be perfect.”
