KnuckleMania is more for Charisa Sigala than just the biggest event on the BKFC calendar.
It was at the inaugural KnuckleMania in 2021 where Sigala made her bare knuckle fighting debut in Lakeland, FL. The former fast-rising MMA star fell short in her debut, dropping a hard-fought decision to eventual BKFC title challenger Taylor Starling, but her run in the world’s fastest growing combat sport had officially begun.
Now, two years later, Sigala returns to action for her sixth BKFC fight at KnuckleMania 3 on Feb. 17 in Albuquerque, NM. She takes on Jayme Hinshaw (1-0, 1 KO), LIVE on The BKFC App.
“KnuckleMania is where I started, so it almost feels like I’m coming home. I’m really excited,” Sigala says.
“When I started, I was really just an MMA fighter fighting above my weight class, but I’ve worked really hard to become a true professional bare knuckle fighter. My game has come a very long way since 2021.”
All of Sigala’s BKFC fights have so far gone the distance. She’s preparing for another five-round battle, but she’s also hoping to bring home her first knockout in the BKFC Squared Circle, hopefully paving the way for a breakout 2023 campaign.
