Bryan Duran's stock keeps rising after improving to 4-0 at BKFC 45

Bryan Duran’s stock keeps rising.

At BKFC 45, he improved his spotless BKFC record to 4-0 with a third-round TKO over Gilberto Aguilar under the bright lights at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, FL.

That’s now four straight stoppage victories for Duran, and the 27-year-old featherweight contender isn’t surprised by his success.

“The most important thing is the belief that I have in myself, and the fact that I probably train harder than every other fighter on the BKFC roster,” Duran says.

“I’m probably the hardest worker on the roster – literally.”

Duran’s work ethic borders on obsession, but it’s certainly paying off. The marketable Miami fighter is widely regarded as one of the most promising young athletes on the BKFC roster and he’s one big win away from smashing his way into the Top 5 rankings.

Entering the rankings will be nice, and he says he’d have an easy time dethroning BKFC World Featherweight Champion Kai Stewart (4-0). But he has even bigger goals in the Squared Circle.

“The belt will mean the world to me, but it will just be the first of many,” Duran says. I’m planning on going all the way to 175 once I retire, and I plan on winning the belt in every division from 145 to 175 along the way.”

As BKFC rapidly approaches its 50th numbered event, Duran sees himself as a future face of the world’s fastest growing combat sports promotion.

“I know I’m going to be the face of this company. That’s something I don’t say a lot publicly because I have tremendous respect for my peers, but it’s just a fact.”
