BKFC 47 Rankings Report before Friday's event in Lakeland, FL

Six fighters ranked in the Top 5 in their respective weight classes enter the Squared Circle at BKFC 47 on Friday in Lakeland, FL, LIVE on The BKFC App. 

x David “Redneck” Mundell is the BKFC World Middleweight Champion and the No. 2 contender in the BKFC light-heavyweight division. A winner of four straight, Mundell knocked out the previously undefeated champ Francesco Ricchi in December to win the BKFC World Middleweight Championship. His record in the Squared Circle is 6-1, with four of his wins coming by stoppage. He holds notable victories over Stanislav Grosu, Julian Lane and Ricchi. He defends his title in Friday’s Main Event against Mike “The Marine” Richman. 

x Mike “The Marine” Richman is the No. 1 contender in the BKFC Middleweight Division and the the No. 1 contender in the BKFC Light-Heavyweight Division. He’s coming off the first loss of his bare knuckle fighting career – a back-and-forth, one-round battle with Lorenzo “The Juggernaut” Hunt in the Main Event of KnuckleMania 3 in February – after earning stoppage victories in his first four trips to the BKFC Squared Circle. He holds notable wins over Dakota Cochrane, Isaac Doolittle and David Rickels.

x Jared “Captain Deadpool” Warren is the No. 3 contender in the BKFC light-heavyweight division. Warren is 5-2 under the BKFC banner. He’s riding off after back-to-back victories, and four of his wins have come by stoppage. He holds notable wins over John Michael Escoboza and Jay Jackson. Warren challenges Josh Dyer for the vacant Interim BKFC World Light-Heavyweight Championship in Friday’s Co-Main Event. This is a highly anticipated rematch; Dyer handed Warren his first BKFC loss at BKFC 12 in 2020. 

x Travis "The Animal" Thompson is the No. 2 contender in the BKFC bantamweight division. Thompson has amassed a 5-4 record in the Squared Circle since debuting at BKFC 1 in 2018. Four of his wins have come by stoppage. He holds a notable win over David Diaz. He’s going for his third straight victory against Ryan Reber. 

x "Royval" Ryan Reber is the No. 4 contender in the BKFC bantamweight division. Reber is undefeated in his first three fights under the BKFC banner. All of his wins have come by stoppage. 

x Brandon "Superman" Allen is the No. 3 contender in the BKFC featherweight division. He’s riding a three-fight winning streak – including back-to-back stoppage – heading into his fight Friday against Seth Shaffer (2-0, 2 KOs). He holds notable wins over Trevor Loken, Joshua Marer and Stevo Morris.
